GOALS, an independent media company covering the business of women’s sports, and Syracuse University’s David B. Falk College of Sport have announced a new partnership. As GOALS’ Official Education Partner, Falk College will help connect emerging leaders with the people and ideas shaping the future of the sport industry.
The partnership will bring Falk College into GOALS’ educational content, including its podcast, The Business Case for Women’s Sports, presented by Ally, and GOALS’ weekly women’s sports business newsletter. A recurring podcast question, presented by Falk College, will invite guests from across women’s sports to share leadership advice with people looking to enter or advance in the industry.
“At GOALS, we firmly believe that the future of sports will be shaped by leaders who recognize the social and economic value of investing in women,” said Caroline Fitzgerald, founder and CEO of GOALS. “By partnering with the Falk College of Sport, GOALS can help bring the business of women’s sports into the educational experience and give emerging leaders greater access to the ideas, information and people moving this industry forward.”

Falk College prepares students for careers across the evolving sport industry through interdisciplinary academic programs, experiential learning and industry connections. Its women in sport initiatives include a partnership with Women Leaders in Sports, as well as student organizations that build community and professional skills through networking, industry engagement and applied research.
“The growth of women’s sports is creating tremendous opportunities across the sport industry, and we want our students to be prepared to lead in that evolving landscape,” said Jeremy Jordan, dean of the Falk College of Sport. “Our partnership with GOALS connects education and industry, giving students greater access to the ideas, perspectives and leaders shaping the future of sport.”
Through the partnership, GOALS and Falk College aim to give students and aspiring professionals a closer look at how women’s sports organizations grow audiences, attract investment and create new opportunities across the industry.
