Kathryn Gratien

Biography

Kate Gratien joined the Falk College Office of Research Development (FORD) in 2016. At FORD, Kate assists Falk faculty with the preparation of research proposals, as well as manages the Falk College research profile. She coordinates FORD programming to support the growth of research. Throughout her professional career, Kate has served in other roles at both Syracuse University and the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry (SUNY ESF). Kate conducted research and managed a research laboratory in the Department of Paper and Bioprocess Engineering (now known as the Department of Chemical Engineering) at SUNY ESF for more than 6 years. Kate holds a bachelor of science degree in paper science and engineering with a management minor from SUNY ESF.
