Biography
Dr. Brann's research focuses on improving diet quality and nutrition-related health outcomes in children, with particular emphasis on family-centered mindfulness and nutrition interventions for early childhood populations, especially those from lower-income and marginalized communities. Dr. Brann received the Excellence in Graduate Education Faculty Recognition Award in 2021. She is a Fellow of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and is a past chair and advisor to the Pediatric Nutrition Practice Group of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.Education
